The Paxil works great while you are taking it. However it is VERY DIFFICULT to get off the drug. I urge anyone considering going on the drug to do some research on the web and discover the awful things that happen to people that are experiencing withdrawal from Paxil.

This medication helped me with a lot of my symptoms, but not all. I did not have any side effects that I had with others.

After feeling so good for so long....I tried to come off of the Paxil but I can't...I get terrible withdrawal side-effects, even after using careful dosage reduction over long periods of time BUT it has been really good for me, treating my depression, anxiety and panic disorders. I have just given into the idea that I must take it for the rest of my life.
