I was on this thyroid medication for several years, but was always dead tired by mid afternoon, and always had a headache..happened to forget to take the medication for a few days, and noticed I was starting to feel better! I then chose to not take it anymore, I felt so much better, and was not as moody and depressed, neither was I sleepwalking in the afternoon. My numbers were still off on the bl

I had horrible reactions to this drug: severe itching, chest pains, palpitations, high blood pressure, and worst of all, irritability and rage. Do yourself a favor and if something is causing you major problems and the doctor tells you to keep taking it, find a new doctor! Feeling much better since I stopped taking this horrible drug.

After trying the generic levothyroxine and getting headaches which is not normal for me, my doctor changed to synthroid - no problems. I seem to have more energy, no bad side effects.
