My 3 year old had been using it for his bacterial pink eye for 3 days, 3x a day as recommended by his doc, and on the 3rd day, he broke out in hives, itchiness, swelling, welts. I gave him topical Benadryl to combat the itchiness so he could sleep. However, I am discontinuing the use of this super drug, since it appears the condition will go away on its own according to other reports. It did clea

took the medication for prescribed 5 days. still experiencing pain and sensitivity to light. will give it a few more days to heal before contacting doctor. my main complaint is the cost of this drug -- $100!! did not know that when I received the prescription but it was too late to go back and ask for something else. I just wanted relief. I will not take this drug again.

Vigamox cleared the redness/swelling and discharge in my 7 year old son's eyes quickly. HOWEVER- within 24 hours of his first dose he developed 2 very bad nose bleeds. 1st 3 drops not a problem. 4th drop at night, took my Lipitor RX and for 3 hours had a headache like I have never experienced before in my life. It hurt to blink and I had to try to sleep sitting up because of the pressure. Will not take any prescribed medication with these drops. But this morning less redness on my lid and no itching.

I'm on my third day of medication for a bacterial infection in both eyes. Within 24 hours of starting the medication, my eyes stopped running. Today they are still red, but I have no discomfort. So far I've had no side effects except some very minor eye irritation (itching) yesterday. This is a very effective drug.
