I had a full hysterectomy in 1985 due to endrimitriosis. I began Premarin about three months later and noticed a difference in my abiity to sleep and my mood. I am now 70 and take a .3 mg dose, which seems to work for me. I have energy, mental acuity, and feel good. Of course I don't have a comparison of how I would be without it, but I know I don't want to try!

I refuse to take this drug simply because of the way it is produced. Go on You Tube and watch what is done. This medication comes from pregnant horse urine. The conditions those horses live in is absolutly horrible, as soon as the foal is born it is taken away and the mare is made to keep getting pregnant. Its unbelievable

I am 67 years old and have taken Premarin since I had a complete hysterectomy when I was age 47. My GYN doctor thinks it is fine to take this but my insurance won't cover it either. I tried Estradiol for a few months and was so jumpy and irritable that I didn't even like myself. I decided it was worth paying for the Premarin myself. I live in Michigan close to the Windsor, Ontario borde ... Show Full Comment

I simply can't say enough about Premarin! I am finally feeling like myself again after trying so many different hormone medications because of the "hormone scare". Premarin is the ONLY medication that has ever worked for me! Hair is full, skin is soft, and no more brain fog! Love it, Love it, Love it!
