Prior to hysterectomy/oophorectomy my hormones had already been decreasing. After the surgery I had drastic changes in mood, sleeplessness, and everything else BUT hot flashes. Actually, I did have night sweats though. I started on .625 for 2 months and by end of second month I was calling for higher dosage. I've been on P .625 for 15 yrs. Decided to take myself off it and give "ICool" a try. But that takes many months to kick in. It helped some. But After 3 months of not sleeping, strip my clothes off hotflashes, my skin starting to sag & V dryness I put myself back on it. I experienced severe depression from it, but it seems to be passing as time goes by. It's good to be back.

Due to cancer, I had a total hysterectomy at 27 years old, cervix and all. Immediately, I experienced extreme hot flashes, sleeplessness, no sex drive and severe mood swings. It was terrible. My doctor prescribed Premarin .625 and after a couple months of little to no relief I almost gave up. Then, it was like something clicked and all of my symptoms went away. My doctor told me it might take a wh
