I started this medication when I was 22 and I'm now 26 and I'm still going strong. I've been pretty stable since I've started taking it.

Very difficult to take as it dissolves quickly and is extremely bitter. I've resolved this by crushing the tablet and placing it in gel caps.

Comment:
I was recently prescribed Lamictal after a serious suicide attempt. It has, I do believe, helped stabilize my moods significantly and I feel like a different person. Side effects have been minimal; the most concerning was memory issues, but Deplin seems to have mitigated that. The only negative things about Lamictal is the need to ramp up slowly to prevent other side effects (rash).
