I have been on isoniazid for 8 1/2 months of a 9 month treatment. I had a positive skin test and clear x-ray. The monthly doctor visits and blood tests are inconvenient but not too bad. I was nauseated after taking the pill the first month, but that went away. I had some numbness in my fingers when I forgot to take the B6 that I was also supposed to be taking daily. so i have been on this drug for a week and i was told to look out for nerve related problems. After two days i felt a wierd pain in my foot by my toes. I was exposed to tb through work and tested positive. I have to take once a day with B6 vitamin, and I don't have any side effects. I'm on month 4 of 9 and have had bloodwork once, which was fine. The problem I have is I can't eat cheese, almost all dairy, raisins, bananas, a lot of meats, can't drink alcohol and I can't take tylenol! That is hard to deal with since I have 2
