On my second month of Previfem, its my first time using birth control and it definitely hasnt been the best experience either. My boyfriend and myself have noticed crazy mood swings, one minute I'm fine next I'm completely balling my eyes out. I've gotten very depressed and have gained about 2-3 pounds, nothing dramatic. I've also noticed minor headaches, bad nausea and an increase ... Show Full Comment

I have had no problems whatsoever. I've never been one to have problems with BC pills anyway. All this talk about mood swings and decreased sex drive...blah blah blah I don't believe BC has anything to do with that. The only problem (and not even a problem) I've missed my period or it is very light to non existant! And that to me is a blessing. I've always taken BC's that have ... Show Full Comment

Currently finishing up my first pack of Previfem. I had some severe mood swings during mid month of he pill, I was fine one moment and was crying hysterically the next. Thank goodness that's over. I feel great aside from all that! Had some headaches at the beginning, but that went away too. I'm on Tuesday of the placebo pills, anxiously waiting for my period to start. For anyone else, what ... Show Full Comment

Effective as in preventing pregnancy. However, a few times has made me bleed the week before my period was even supposed to start. Also, I'm extremely emotional the week before my period on this pill. Before I was on birth control, I never PMS'd. The week before my period feels pretty much like I'm already on my period due to cramps.
