But that gabapertin did not help at all with the pain, and caused anxiety and irritation. I asked my doctors office, Intermed, to take note of it for the manufacturer, but they said they don't do that, that its up to the manufacturer, which made no sense, if the doctors who prescribe it don't inform the manufacturer, how would the manufacturer know? The medicine is bad news, didn't work for me at all, in fact it made me feel worse.

I have read and can now confirm from my experience , that this drug has significant side effects . Immdiately after starting drug I developed intense joint pain , especially knees. And immediately after stopping this drug, the joint pain went away. This appears to be compounded if there are joint issues to start with .

Neuropathy pain in feet and hands stage 4 BRCA, cognitive deficit moderate to severe on 400mg 3xday, tumor mets in brachial plexus (shoulder) which effects three nerve routes in arm and hand. severe pain in arm and feet so bad am on walker. Neurontin numbs the pain but I am a space cadet, forgetful to the max.

Gabapentin is a must have for me. Anytime I am in the hospital and it is past my dose time I start asking for it immediately. It works so well for me I cannot do without it. I take 600 mg tablets 3 times a day. Morning, late afternoon and at bedtime. I was recently prescribed Neurontin after several visits to my doctor with unbearable nerve, muscle pain all over my body, I also have plantar fasciitis, which makes it difficult to stand and walk any distance, this couples with osteoarthritis in all my joints has had a huge impact of my quality of life over the past 18 months.I have been in tears most days with the pain as regular pain killers ar ... Neurontin worked almost immediately, it was like a mini miracle, I can move my arms and legs without severe pain, the stabbing pains have stopped and its even helped relieve my plantar fasciitis, first time in almost 2 years.Yes it makes you feel a bit woozy and forgetful but better that than unbearable pain 24 hours a day. I'm so grateful to my doctor for recommending it, I could hug her, and I really could NOW without wincing with pain.
