After suffering from depression since childhood and taking nearly all brands of antidepressants, which were not effective, I was diagnosed with chronic major depression. 72 year old mom given this hastily in e r for depression. She was wired all night, acting like a paranoid schizophrenic, suffered a seizure and now has to take keppra for who knows how long.
